This research paper aims to analyze the importance of healthy lifestyles from a very early age, the promotion in classrooms and the acquisition of healthy habits in the school population and its future impact on their daily lives. Different aspects related to the adoption of healthy habits will be explored, including a balanced diet, regular physical activity, stress management and mental health care. Additionally, practices will be provided to encourage these healthy lifestyles and the benefits that may arise from their implementation will be discussed. The conclusions that have been obtained are not different from other studies related to healthy living habits in the area. That is, they are along the same lines and point to the lack of knowledge that teachers and students have regarding the implementation of these fields in their daily life.
Therefore, the article analyzes the importance of promoting healthy lifestyles from an early age in classrooms to improve the well-being, human development, and quality of life of students. Aspects such as balanced nutrition, regular physical activity, stress management, and mental health care are addressed, with the aim of promoting healthy habits among the school population. Practices are provided to promote these healthy lifestyles, and the benefits of their implementation are discussed. The lack of knowledge among teachers and students about the importance of these habits in daily life is highlighted. Through a literature review, the need to incorporate the promotion of healthy lifestyles into the educational curriculum is evinced, in order to improve the quality of life of students.
