Effective management of human talent in teaching staff

Abstract

Educational administrators consider the human talent of their collaborators as a valuable factor for their management. Under this premise, this study aimed to analyze the management for the development of human talent in the teaching and administrative staff of Colegio Francisca Carrasco Jiménez, in circuit 02 of the Regional Directorate of Education of Cartago. The article was conducted using a qualitative approach, with a case study design. The study involved working with the teaching and administrative staff of the educational center, using two techniques for data collection: interview and focus group. Among the main findings is that educational managers play a key role in the development of their organizations, but they must possess the appropriate talents to perform their functions correctly and as expected; otherwise, the added value will not be obtained, nor will success in standing out in the current market, in addition to the imminent difficulty in achieving good work performance.
