Abstract

The main objective of the article is “To analyze education as awareness among educational actors to raise school performance and improve the quality of education”. The research makes methodological use of the quantitative approach; surveys are carried out with students, family parents or legal guardian and teachers to collect information.
The theoretical analysis emphasizes education as awareness in educational actors. “Awareness” is defined as knowledge, reason or knowledge to generate results with effectiveness and efficiency and thus achieve the quality of education. Among its main findings: teachers must investigate the socioeconomic level of families, they must look for topics of interest and innovative strategies; they must also take into account the factors that affect the quality of education to look for strategies to minimize this problem and make use of those factors that improve the quality of education.
Among its main conclusions: teachers do not inquire about the socioeconomic level of the student’s family nucleus. Among the positive factors it was found that the teacher carries out innovative strategies, takes into account the feelings and actions of her students; therefore, there is awareness among educational actors and importance is given to these factors, since most of the items were met favorably.
