Abstract

This article explores the holistic approach in education, proposing that the current educational crisis is rooted in the fragmentation of knowledge and the absence of pleasure in the learning process. Through the theory of complexity and the concept of the “learning self”, an educational model is presented that promotes the integration of human beings with their ecological and social environment, favoring cognitive transformation. A non-linear vision of education is proposed, where meaningful learning is generated from passionate and creative experiences that transcend the traditional limits of teaching.
